Tabuk: The Saudi Red Crescent Authority in Tabuk Region is offering comprehensive health services to pilgrims arriving via Pilgrims City at the Halat Ammar border crossing for Hajj rituals. This effort is part of a coordinated system involving multiple agencies dedicated to serving pilgrims.
Nawaf Alanazi, Director General of the Saudi Red Crescent Authority in Tabuk, highlighted that the branch provides 24/7 medical and humanitarian emergency care to pilgrims from their arrival until their departure to the holy sites.
He added that the authority has deployed qualified staff and advanced equipment, including field emergency points, specialized medical teams, and fully equipped ambulances, in line with Saudi leadership’s commitment to delivering top-quality services to pilgrims.
Since its launch, The Saudi Red Crescent Authority (SRCA) has played a leading role in humanitarian and relief efforts within Saudi Arabia and across the region.
In 2024, SRCA engaged over 211,000 volunteers, contributing nearly 119 million volunteer hours and supporting ambulance services, health, education, and environmental projects.
Additionally, Women made up 54% of volunteers, highlighting strong youth and female participation. SRCA also supports international humanitarian efforts, such as providing ambulance vehicles to the Cameroon Red Cross and enhancing regional cooperation through partnerships like the Arab Red Crescent and Red Cross Organization (ARCO).
These collaborations align with Saudi Vision 2030, emphasizing humanitarian leadership, regional coordination, and rapid disaster response.
